Taiwan Trip
Many asked me about my Taiwan Trip last week and i always replied "so-so lah". Haaaa, they could sense the disappointment in either the way i speak or my expression. HEEE.
Seriously i was quite disappointed, the streets and building i see is not the same as what i saw in TV programs or dramas. The old buildings and streets make me feel as if i'm touring in m'sia or china. It's so backward and rundown till i began to realise that Singapore is so good, in everyway.
Erm, those police officers i saw on the streets are like security guards (Yea, their uniform ain't professional enough), happily walking around with big bloated belly. Haiz, bet they can't run far bah. =(
And yea, it's Taipei. Supposed to be the City of Taiwan.
The things they sell are quite expensive, erm let say for movies, it cost more than SGD10. Others like MRT and cab, it's no cheaper.
Of course there are good points about Taipei, i would say that the locals are always willing to help, well at least they seems to be nicer than most Singaporeans. =.="
We met alot of nice Taiwanese like "Tiger Beer" Alex, some friendly Shopkeepers and "Pay fares after boarding" Bus drivers. Really wanna thank them for guiding us, or our trip will be VERY horrible i guess. =)
Another fun thing is SHOPPING! Yea, they sell lotsa things that we can't buy here. Examples, the super kawaii notebook, hp screen stickers, many many mickey tees, so on and so fourth. =D
Besides shopping, they have this water theme park, wooooooo really nice. I wore bikini and yea i look super awful but i didn't really care. No one remembers me the next day mah. HEE. We played many many "rides" and it was all super fun. The only problem i faced is that i have to climb very high, and the stairs is not really joined together, erm as in i could see how high i was going.
It really scares me off my wits. I almost cried when i climbed for the first time. Haiz, no choice i could only force myself to keep climbing, climbing and climbing. =`(
The food there was not really so SUGOI after all. Normal bah? Dunno why they claimed that their food are really really so nice and tasty. Erm, maybe you guys can enlighten me.
Hee, so people if you wanna go taipei, i would recommend you guys to spend yr money in Singapore. More worthwhile i guess.
